5 weeks and sharp pains?

Just found out my husband and I are pregnant with our second child after trying for almost 9 months!! When I was driving home from work today, I started having sharp lower abdominal pains - nothing unbearable but definitely painful. They've subsided for now but is this something I should be worried about or just a round of normal pregnant fun? Thanks in advance! Hope to talk to you all more in the forums soon!

    In ur lower abdomen on both ur right n left side u have ligaments, there's also one in the back. I forget their names, but as ur uterus grows they pull and cause pain. Just sitting the wrong way even lying can cause pain. I wouldn't worry unless its persistent, if ur real concerned call ur obgyn.

    I would just be aware of your body. If u feel somethings not right.... see ur dr. But, dont freak out, could just be ur body making ajustments or gas. I wish u the best. Congrats on getting pregnant.

    It definatly could be gas. I was so worried cause I was havin pain but my mom told me as long as I'm not bleeding I should be ok. I've been doing lots of fiber and the pain has lessened.

    I had awful pain on my left side and t was from constipation.
