My husband wanted to name our daughter arwen from lord of the rings. I rejected it. I don't want my kid to feel like a dork because daddy was a lord of the rings fan. We named her Caroline. : )
@nebraskamommy2be I have a boy but its with a different guy. Even though my bf is raising him as his own he still wants one of his own. I planned to wait 5 years too to save on daycare expenses but we had problems getting pregnant and now he's 7. Hell be 8 when we have the baby. @jdc I like Caroline!
My friend called my first born megatron for the longest time, I didn't mind it as a nick name, my son changed his name to "Sam' for along time too. Haha but I would definately not legally name my kid optimus. He would be made fun of. But, my husband and son did pick the name Logan after wolverine. And I'm ok with that. Except having to explain to people I'm not giving birth to wolverine. Haha

i love different names myself... our boy name (if we ever have one) had been picked out since about a yr after we were dating. i used to make fun of him and his brother for their love of superman and poked fun at him watching smallville BUT we ended up watching it on our "date nights" every week as we ate greek salad and drank rootbeers from the old school bottles... well one day while i was watching i had a double take and asked what they had just called superman? Kahlel ...my husband informed me that is was supermans name on "his planet"... and that was that! i have stuck to it and pray that i will be able to give my hubby his boy someday soon TTC and praying for a little Kahlel hahaha i never thought! Wednesday is on the list for a girl. along with Boston (where I'm from, although i moved to Idaho last year), & Sydalee (from the ya-ya sisterhood)...
Think im naming my son Raiden Issac. Raiden after mortal combat so the bd can go* get over here* I find it a cute name either way. Oh and I accidently named my first son ricky bobby because his name is richard robert the third... wish I would have realized this before I decided to name him after his fater
