anyone else every felt guilty?

My first child is 11 yrs now and I'm going to have my second child this month. I am so excited but I also feel guilty like I'm taking love and attention from my oldest. I know I'm not but its been just her for 11yrs and I don't want her to feel betrayed. That breaks my heart. She says she is excited but I know she is sad also.
I'm planning mommy daughter dates with her a lot so we still have alone time. Have anyone else feel the way I do?

    Umm I am unsure I do know what u feel in away..
    I feel guilty because I can not be here for my sister like I use to be..
    either im too emotional or too wrapped up in my own stuff...
    she is excited and knows its not her fault or mine or babys...
    then she is mature for her age... she is 13
    but I still feel bad..

    @proudmomma dnt feel guilty. Dnt see it as taking love away, they r jus sharing ur love. N im sure she is excited if she says she is bcuz kids usually dnt hide their feelings. Everything will be ok. N its great ur making alone time for u n her so she wont feel betrayed. N bcuz shes been an only child for so long im sure shes very happy abt having a new sibling.

    @bkuneki i felt like i was being mean to my little sister but it was jus hormones n i think she understands. If ur sis is mature like u say she will def understand that ur preggo n might be tired or get wrapped up in ur own things. She knows she will always be u

    @proudmommie627 thank you :) I just never want to hurt my child. I do know my daughter will be the best big sister she can. She's very protective. I'm glad this baby is a girl so its an easier bond for them.

    I feel bad for telling my bro how annoying he is... but that's a different story tho... I feel bad but idk he doesn't understand now but hopefully he will one day...

    @proudmomma o wow even better! Girls love little sisters lol but ur very welcome. I wouldnt say it if i didnt mean it. My aunt was worried about telling her son she was having another baby. Esp since it wasnt with his dad. But he handled it very well (hes 7) n children usually love the idea of having a sibling. N if she didnt i think she would tell u bcuz i havent met a child that hasnt been very blunt about wat they like n dnt like lol

    Do either of you get weird feeling in your body that makes you feel your heart beat every where and pressure on your lungs?

    @proudmommie627 yea in the beginning she had confused emotions about it but since her friends have siblings she feels better. But it does help when one says her mom ignores her cause it makes my daughter know I will not let that happen. Yes kids do say how they feel. She did though try to hide it but it showed.

    @bkuneki o i dnt ever feel bad abt telling.my brothers they annoy me. N yea im more motherly with her. Like she cant hang in my room til hw is done n sometimes she always wants to be around me wen i rly want alone time n i feel bad for telling her to leave me bcuz shes so sweet n so excited abt the baby but sometimes i truly want to be alone.

    @proudmomma Im starting to get short of breath n pressure on my lungs. They say it happens as the bby gets bigger its harder for u to breath. N i actually made a post abt feeling the heartbeat one day lol i thought it was my babys heartbeat bcuz i felt it in my lower tummy

    @proudmomma aw! At least she feels better about it. N will feel even better after baby is born. N the fact that u still make alone time shows her u will nevr foret abt her

    Lol some women told me it was my own bcuz we have much more blood pumping lol it was cute to think it was the babys tho. How far along r u?

    I just letcure her about boys and what possible out comes can be lol
    im an example for her so I explain if she doesn't want a bby at 16 then no humping... lol stuff like that and I get frusterated when she keeps going back to a dummy of a bf
    lol its funny drama middle schoolers have... I can't believe I was once like that :D

    @bkuneki lmao thats so cute. N funny. Lol my little sister has drama already going on with girls n boys in her lil 8 yr old life. Im like wow 3rd grade is a soap opera lmao. She talks to me abt her little fake "boyfriend" bcuz she cant tell my dad or my mom lol its hilarious. Shes his gf bcuz hes the strongest boy in the class n won her love in a pencil stabbing competition
