what did you do when you & your bd couldn't agree on a name?
I have been looking at baby names practically since I found out I was pregnant. Finding a girl name was so easy, me & my husband came to an agreement quickly for Annelise Danielle. However, we are having a lot of trouble agreeing on a boys name. I absolutely love the name Mason Daniel, but my husband absolutely hates it. So I took a second look at names & came up with Landon Christopher... he likes the Landon part, but he doesn't like Christopher. Now every other name I suggest he dissapproves of... but he hasn't even picked up a baby name book for himself! It's really frustrating because I want this baby to have a name as soon as we find out if it's a boy or girl, a name is very important to me. We went through this problem with my last pregnancy as well, & I ended up settling with a Jr because that's what my husband really wanted... but he won't even settle for a middle name that he doesn't like... not very fair in my opinion.

@MummyNumber3, I wish I could do that! I did tell him I didn't care what he thought at one point, as long as he likes the first name what does the middle name really matter to him? If I'm doing all the searching I should get the most say in the name. Plus, he got exactly what he wanted with our son, he got a Jr & I really didn't want that. But apparently giving our son his innitials just wasn't enough so I let him have his way.
I think he's being really selfish, especially since at the beginning he was saying I could pick the name. But since I was nice & asked him his opinion on names all the sudden it CAN'T be whatever I want.
@iris_y_juan, because men apparently feel they must be part of everything I suppose lol. He won't give in that easy.
@Jaime77, use Mason as middle for Landon? I'm not so sure, Landon Mason S doesn't mesh very well in my opinion. But I totally agree with him actually tossing some names at me if he doesn't like my choices! How far along are you? Atleast we have a little time on our hands.
@Tishlamort, that's exactly what I'm going through but different roles lol minus the two middle names part. I could not imagine being so close to my duedate without a name yet, but a lot of people say the name comes to them when they finally see the baby.
@jenn_929, I am all for my husband areeing to the first name, we both have to call them by it anyways. But really to totally dissapprove my name selections based on the middle name? You had your say in the first, I'm giving them your last, can I just get one piece completely my way?
@magickal, being compared to your situation... I am actually glad my husband hasn't picked up a baby name book. He comes up with the weirdest things sometimes. Plus he got his way 100% with our last son!
@pregnantlettemama, if both agree on the first name & baby gets his last name does that constitute as his half? Lol. This pregnancy has made me very emotionally crazy, one minute I'm up, the next ten I'm down lol. It drives him nuts! He's not so easily persuaded though.
@blackbarbie10, lol I wish it was that simple for me.
@Sammiegee87, I think I've tried that! But I'll try it again lol. I am sure he will disagree, but I'm not going to give up!
