anyone else measuring bigger?????

So I'm 7months but my doctor said I'm measuring 5weeks bigger so I'm measuring. 8months along but my last ultrasound the baby's measurements were right on for being 7months and plus I've only gained 12pounds.... everyone thinks I'm having twins but my doctor wont do another ultrasound to see if there's two baby's ...... is there anyone else with this problem????? Plus its my first baby so I'm a little nervous ........

    Every belly is different! Tell him you want another u/s! A friend of mine got huge for a 'avg skinny' girl. She looked 6-7 months when she was only 5. Her son is beautiful and came out healthy.

    My mom didn't find out she was having twins until she was 7 months and when she was pregnant with me she kept measuring bigger and found out I was a twin also but the other one didn't make it ... I've been having the same symptoms as her and I tried telling my doctor that but she said I don't get another ultrasound unless it's an emergency ....

    Oh girl I gain alot more then u so dnt worrie thing is its my first to so my hubby spoils me with anything I want...n if he dosent I cry so one or another i get it but im n my last days of my 7th month n I lost like 6lbs n gain 4 these past 2 weeks. So dnt worrie about it your preges enjoy it while u can befoe its late. Worrie rite after the bby is born not now

    I don't care how much weight I gain I'm just saying I don't think I should be measuring a month bigger considering I've only gained 12pounds... but idk I guess ill find out when my little girls born if there's two or not lol

    An ultrasound will detect twins, as early as 6 weeks you see twins, if you were having twins, im pretty sure you would know by now considering you have had an ultrasound. You may just be carrying extra water or a bigger baby but you should voice your concerns with your doctor and they may give you another ultrasound to ease your mind.

    U need to demand a Sonogram.u hire dr to take care of u.if u were at a Restaurant n received a meal that was wrong would complain.if u had an employee that did something wrong would u correct them.there ur drs u hire them basically.u need to verbalize ur concerns.u have genuine concerns.now is the time to speak up.they should listen to how u feel and try to accommodate u.this has happened to me b4 so I have strong feelings.drs always think they know whts best all the time and they don't.remember if it wasn't for there patients(you) wht would they do.my dr wouldn't listen to me I faked pain n finally got my Sono n they were still wrong.I told them baby was too big. They said he was bout 9lbs n I could handle it bc I've had a 8lb baby.a 8lb 4oz baby and a 8lb.11oz baby.my 4th was 10lbs as soon as he came out dr was like omg he's huge.I have same drs now preg wit my 5th n I told them ur goin to listen to me this time or I will find another dr.they listened to that.plz just speak to them n tell them.good luck.lmk wht u think

I agree ultrasounds do show if its twins or not but not if they aren't looking for two..... and @lucky7.... that's another thing my mom thinks is its either twins or a big baby her first was 10lbs and the second time she had twins and they were 9 and 8lbs!!!! And then she had me I was 7lbs and was also suppose to be a twin lol but I will ask my doctor again but not much I can do if she wont I guess ....

    @abbys-mommy...wow how did ur mom do that.wow.im shocked.she's amazing for that.I only know 1other person who has had a baby over 10lbs her babies were all btween 10 n 14lbs she was a big women n norwegian.idk how she did it.10lbs hurts alot I nvr want to do that again.@ 10lbs ur giving birth to a 3month old besides the pain its not fair u have to skip the itty bitty baby part.lol....oh and I only gained 20lbs with my 10lb baby

    Also if there wrong n u do have baby 1month early its not so bad as long as baby's developed especially the lungs.I know there's a shot they give u when ur preg to develop the lungs faster bc my friend had it last wk and she went into labor 7wks early.they got it to stop but now she's on very strict bedrest.I grisly wish u all the best n I will pray for u and ur baby.

    Lol and with my brother the 10lb one she did it with no drugs lol and the twins my other brother came first he was the 9lb one and my sister was the 8lb one but she was breach so they had to put my mom to sleep and reach up in her to flip my sister around because they said she was way to big of a baby to have breach .... I was a normal size baby and my husband was only 5lbs so I'm hoping I don't have a big baby and there's only one lol

    Omg if mom is a real trooper.brave brave women.lol.5lbs Awww I wouldn't even know wht to do with a 5lb baby I would b afraid id break it.lol.just keep faith ur baby will b healthy u sound like ur goin to be a good mom already.I saw wht u wrote to the 1 lady that u don't care how much u weight u just want to make sure ur baby is goin to be healthy basically.selflessness 1st step in being a great parent:)

    Lol yes she is!!!!
    Yeah he was only 5lbs and now he's 6ft4 280 lbs and wears 15 size shoe lol he's not so little anymore ;)
    And thank I really hope I'm a good mom and that's all I really do want is for my little girl to be happy and healthy!!!!

    Both my labors were less than 8 hrs and only pushed like 3 times with each and my boys slide right out. It was a breeze!

    Oh yes bigger is easier once there born but getting them out not so much but no matter how much it hurts as soon as u see ur baby all the pain goes away n u can't take ur eyes off ur baby.so worth evry second.ur prepared u know wht ur doing.if it was so horrible I wouldn't be having my 5th,lol.look ur mom is a warrior and still kept going,lol.also see ur hubby was a teeny baby andl look at him now.wow 6'4 that's a big boy,lol.he's same as my sisters hubby 6'4 and 300lbs.my hubby is 5'6 and 170lbs he's a lil guy,lol.maybe ur baby wont weigh alot but is very long???

    @mommyof3boys. That's no fair none of mine slide right out.im jealous,lol.no pain meds either ur awesome.my 4th the 10lb baby I got an epidural I nvr want to do that again.big mistake.but they gave me pitocin and said I might need a csection bc my labor wasn't progressing but the pitocin was my 2nd time having it and it hurts so much worse from the reg contractions

    Lol well I have an ob appointment on the 8th so maybe I can finally talk my doctor into giving me another ultrasound so we can find out if its a big baby or what!!!
