A lil jealous!

Ill be 30 weeks soon and i have to admit all the talk on the forum about showers has made me sad I have 3 kids already prego with my 4th and no one is throwing me a shower. With my other 3 I had 2 showers each just cause our families dont talk so each side threw me one. idk maybe just my emotions. ~:>

    I feel you :( I want a shower too and mil told me I already things left from my boys. But I just want the party and I was actually thinking of a strictly diaper and wipe party. BTW this is my 5th child :)

    We aren't having a shower either. Its my 6th and our 3rd girl in 3 years. So this time we decided to have the cord blood drawn and stored and asked that anyone who would like to give us a gift to donate to that.

    u should just throw 1 urself!! :) i dont see anything wrong with that at all!!! its 4 u & ur baby after all...so why not do it urself?! it doesnt have 2 be a huge 1 or super extravagant...just buy a few things & foods & invite a few people...have fun with it!!! ;)

    @librababii true but just thinking the money I spend on that even if its just alittle I could just go shopping with myself.

    thats true also, but ur wanting a baby shower...? so either do 1 urself, & dont think about it too much...or dont do 1 at all & go 'shopping with urself'...? at the end of the day, ur always gonna go shopping 4 ur baby, thats just natural...but u want more than that...so just try it out & plan 1! :)

    @felicia89 ya its like every pregnant women deserves her lil attwntion and special day while pregnant its something to look forward too ans be spoiled a lil. But I can deal with it im looking forward more to seeing my baby girl!

    That's one of the big reasons we decided to do it. This is going to be our last one, and our 1 year started having seizures on Christmas night, so we decided then that anything could happen. I would rather say 20 years from now that wow we spent 2400 to store the cord blood and never used it, than 2 years from now saying I wish we would have stored the cord blood now what do we do?

    @ammasmama wow sorry to hear that.. And very true. Ur doing the right thing for ur family. Good luck with ur 1 year old hun and with this pregnancy. U just never jnow now wat could happen and all of us moms want to believe it wont ever happen to our family but better safe and prepared. Its a good investment.

    @most_blessed it is expensive but we went with MAZE laboratories. They don't advertise and you can pay it all upfront and pay less than any other company. The 2400 includes everything, collection, courier, storage for 20 years! Actually I think it was less cause they sent me 100 off in an email when I was looking into it!

    I'm jealous this is my 4th pregnancy and I've never had a baby shower for any of my pregnancies
