So upset with my doc!

He told me a while back that if I don't hold anything down for 24 hours to contact him immediately because with me being under weight getting dehydrated could be really dangerous. Well I caught a tummy bug and haven't been able to even keep down water since 6am yesterday. I call him at 3pm and the office closed early for the day! And its been an hour since the lady said she's going to find someone to call me back. I'm starving and dizzy and don't wanna go to the er to get turned back around. I know I'm really dehydrated because I'm crying with no tears.

    Ah sweetie i would go into the er. They shouldn't turn u away, just explain to them that yu have called the dr office but didn't get a response and r concerned that u r dehydrated.

    Go to the ER! Tell them: You're pregnant, you're dehydrated, your doctor's is closed and they better treat you unless they want to talk to your lawyers when you have complications/miscarriage. I do believe that would do the trick. Good luck!

    I would call your doc again!! And in the meantime drink (or sip) pedialyte if you have it or gatorade/poweraid. If you don't hear from ur doc I would go to the ER if be voiced concern early on. My doc said if you can't pee go to the ER for IV fluids

    Thanks everyone he finally called back and called in a medicine for me to try before going to the er. He said to take the medicine and drink lots of gatorade and if that doesn't help in a few hours to go to the er. That jello idea sound good defiantly getting my husband to pick some up on his way home!

    On the bright side I was laying down resting and seen my belly jump :) I've been feeling him move but my husband and kids have been so jealous that they can't! So big brother felt him for the first time today!

    Go to the er I had the same problem ur doc is gonna tell u to go to the er anyways they have to give u an iv to help rehydrate u

    I kn its been said but go to the er and if ur not getting what u need from ur doc find another one its very important or I think so for you to have trust in your doc and that he or she is listening to you

    I finally gave in and came to the er they gave me 2 bags of fluid and a potassium shot and I'm about to be sent home on the "brat" diet thanks for all the help everyone! @TandTsbb my last name :)
