still sick...this cough is killing me

I have been sick for 5 days. Started with a sore throat now e are to me coughing all night! Everytime I cough it pulls in my lower stomach. I feel like I have an elephant sitting on my chest...or at least an insane preggo chick;-) I think I'm going to have to call the Dr today...just don't know should I call my ob or primary care Dr?

    I have the same thing I called my primary and I have a chest infection and bronchitis. He gave me keflex antibiotic and said take robitussin dm and stay hydrated in bed. I asked the pharmacist and they said they r both safe in pregnancy. Id call cuz mine wasn't going away either :( feeling better now. Throat is better and I'm finally coughing stuff up now :)

    Everything I get turns into bronchitis...a cold, sinuses, strep....boom bronchitis. I am only 11weeks today and just didn't want to be on any meds:-(

    It will only get way worse if u dont get something for it. Esp if ur prone to bronchitis like I am.

    I had that 3 weeks ago and it literally took me 2 weeks to recuperat. I drank lots of low vaccine hot tea with lemon and honey and used cloraseptic spray but it only soothed momentarily. The coughing got so bad I got an ear infection and migraine on the right hand side of my face. Good luck and I hope you feel better. >:D<

    @richjen24 That sucks so bad! Everytime I think I am feeling better, something happens to make me cough and I am back at square one. I didn't go to the doctor today cause....well I really don't have a good excuse. I know tonight while trying to sleep I will be wishing that I had gone, but I am just praying it goes away. I do feel a little better and just kept busy today. I am going to shoot some more orange juice and go to sleep...hopefully a good nights sleep will help.
