INSURANCE! ! Today I found out they are not covering maternity! Wth am I going to do now I self paid for my son and I can't afford it this time.. I don't have the family help like I used to and medicad takes 3 months so that means no care till afterwards? ? Ugh this completely stinks

Wow I have medicare. They pay fully for children & preg women. I think that from when u first applyed everything will be covered as long as u qualify. Call ur local public aid office & ask.

Medicaid should go through right away hun if you are pregnant and if needed, they cover 3 months back of medical bills.

Yeah i got medicaid the day i went in and applied because i am pregnant. It will cover everything com the beginning of your regnancy. They can give you something called a presumtive form to take to your doct til you get your card.

Well I did the medicaid thing and they said it can take up to 45 days ... I hope it works I need it

I have medicade and they covered a month before I got it... so they payed all my er visits a month or so before

It may take longer in flordia. It's a larger state with a larger population. Not sure but maybe someone from flordia will read this thread and comment. Wish u the best of luck!!
