ladies plz help

Ok so my first baby is due in Aug :X ... So excited n so is my whole fam... N my aunt wants to throw me a babyshower. It made me very happy so I told her ofcourse. Well my mother in law is also xcited n decided she also wants to throw me one and mother in law is set on having a completly diff shower. Is it ok to have two showers. Ladies I need advice, plz help

    Its totally ok!! Lots of people have two showers. I had one a close friend threw me for all my fam and friends. Another a good friend at work threw me for all my co workers and people who couldn't make the first. This happens quite a lot. Especially if you have two sides of family that don't really know each other yet, or just dont hang out. Or work vs family. Some people just have two so more people can attend. Totaly normal. don't even wory about it. Its nice to have the chance for more people who want to be apart but may not be able to do one or the other :)

    Thanks yea its kinda like two sides fam who havent came close yet n was hoping the bs would bring them closer. My aunt told me she wants to be the only one throwing it, dont have the heart to tell either one no... So it would be a shock to my aunt if I had em both.

    Thats tough. It would be nice if they would all come together. Have you tried talking it over with your Aunt? Let her know you really want her to do it, maybe have hers first, try to get the others to come, but explain you can't really stop your mom in law from doing it if she wants, and you don't want to offend your new family..? Or maybe you could get her to compramise and work together on it? Sry, I know thats a hard place. Unfortunatly when it comes to being a part of two familys things can get tough. good luck!!

    I had 3! my aunt had one for me, & my boyfriends mother..then after I had my daughter my church threw me a small one! just let your aunt & mother in law know so that its not awkward if it comes up.
    I ended up not having to buy diapers for about the first 8 months for my daughter.. having people throw you showers is a blessing! enjoy! (:
