I'm a little worried about getting the staples too....my last c-section was with a different doctor at a different hospital and they used the tape and glue....tbe doctor I have now does not.
I had staples with my son 2 yrs ago.nd I dnt think it hurt I jst felt it tight on the incision but when they took it out the 1st lady who was doin it must not know Wht she was doin cause she couldnt get one out nd it hurt but then the 2nd last was doin it nd I felt nothin except she did warn me tht one was cricket nd tht one pinched a lil but it was fine so I think it depends on ur pain tolerance..
I had staples for three different c-sections. All were simple, easy to remove, no infection or problems, and no pain except the tiny pinch when they removed them. I admit, the first time was weird and I was all worried about it opening up with them removing them so soon, but you'd be amazed how quickly that skin heals and fuses! I don't think there's much to worry about with the staples, I've never had a problem.
I had staples 2 yrs ago with my daughter and was scared that it would be painful when they got removed but when the time came I didn't feel a thing :-D
