?'s about AF after a M/C getting kinda worried

Ok so I miscarried March 10th so to speek had my D&C the 12th:-(( . I am not sure how long I was carrying my lifeless child :/ . I had an u/s at 6 weeks things were fine but when I went in for my 10 week check up there was no heart beat. Doc said it was ok though bc it was still kinda early to hear it yet through the thing they use. Well, I knew something wasn't right then. When I went in for my 13 week u/s that's when it confirmed I m/c. Doctor said I would/should have AF within 4/6 weeks of the D&C. Well, I understand I have another week yet for her to come. We haven't been trying to avoid getting pregnant. I have taken three tests just to see for sure if I was pregnant or not and of course BFN =(( ! I am for some reason gaining weight and just not feeling myself. That could also be from me not sleeping either. I some times feel like I am going to start but I don't. I was wondering if any of you ladies who have been though this has any advise as to what I should do. I mean like I said I know it hasn't been 6 weeks yet but it's getting close. The doctor had said if I dont' have AF by 6 weeks to call back. What is that suppose to mean?? I am kind of scared to call and say I haven't had it yet. I would love to have another baby and soon at that also, but I don't want to mess things up for my body. I am just really confused :-? . I have nothing to really go by either period wise as to track how far apart they have been bc I haven't had a period for since December. I have been really depressed recently as well for no apparent reason.. :-(( I know there are plenty of things on here about people asking what to use TTC but it's really hard to get to through my phone. For some reason Pregly isn't working on my phone very well any more X(. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas as to what to use to help the TTC process along lol... =D> . I know a lot of people are told to wait until after your first AF or your 2nd but I have been told that your most fertile after a M/C. I am just so lost as to what's going on with my body. I hate this lol... ~X(

    I had a d&c last may from a missed miscarriage too hun. Although im not TTC because im 32+4 weeks pregnant now, I figured id let you know my experience. I didn't start my AF for 7.5 weeks after my d&c. Then it only came every 6-7 weeks. After cycle 2 we were given the okay to TTC again, even though we weren't preventing it and we got pregnant that cycle so don't give up hope hun!! My doctor said sometimes it can take up to 10 weeks for AF to come again after your d&c. He said if it had been 10 weeks and no AF, to call and they would first give me a blood pregnancy test to make sure I wasn't expecting again, then give me a pill which would start my period, that is most likely why your doctor would have you call, to come do a blood test and take a pill to get AF to start. Don't give up hope hun!! Best of luck and lots of sticky baby dust to you!! :D

    Thanks. I was told I could start TTC after the first AF but we will see I guess. That's weird your doc said 10 weeks and mine said 6. Lol different doctors say different things I guess. I was going to give it a little more time before I called, but then again I don't you know. I really appreciate the advise and CONGRATS to you!!! I am hoping that my body will get back to normal soon so I can get pregnant again. I thought about taking a few pills of my old birth control I had and then stopping them but then again I don't want to throw my body all out of wack either. I just want AF to come lol. I have never ever wanted her to come this bad before. But then again I will not be apposed to having a BFP test either! So do you think I should wait for about 7 weeks or so or call if AF doesn't come in 6 like my doc said. Seeing how your doc told you 10. I guess I should just let mother nature take it's course and not get all worked up about it. Thanks for helping me out. Thanks for the baby dust!!!! :-D

    Thanks @OregonMama. Sorry for your losses BTW both of you @MommyofTwoPrincesses!! I know I am right there with you. I know they told me to wait 2 weeks until I had my check up to do anything at all. Yeah right I couldn't wait. We waited a week, but only did it once. Once I was cleared by the doc and she said I could return to normal activity it was on like donkey kong lol :p . We don't do it every day that's for sure but at least once or twice a week. I know I told my hunny I wanted my body to be able to heal and get back to normal but it was so hard when I wanted a baby and lost ours. :-(( . Now I am back to square one again and just patiently waiting as much as I can. It's very hard though!! I am glad to hear there is hope because I was about to give up! I have four already of my own and he has two but we both want more! We both love kids so much and both agree that whatever God brings us in kids we will gladly take!! Thanks again ladies and Congrats to you all!!! Wish you all happy healthy pregnancies and babies!

    You're welcome hun! :) if you want her to come, I wouldn't be opposed to calling after 7 weeks and getting help for AF to start. Nothing wrong with that! :) just make sure your blood is taken and checked before you take any pills. :)

    Oh yeah I would make them do that. I don't think I am bc I have taken 3 darn tests but I would want to double check though!!! I really wanted them to double check before I had my D&C just to make sure things weren't wrong bc it was so hard to let go. But they didn't :( Oh well. And that's probably what I'll do. I've never had regular periods any ways so it could take some time but I want her to come so bad so I can figure out when I ovluate lol...

    I also had a missed abortion on the 9th and had a d&c on the 11th. I was 13 weeks. and this week I started my af.
