  • NO nurse hotline @ ur office? We can call @ night for emergencies, a severe tooth ache is considered. Or call your local e.r. Maybe a kind nurse will answer u.

  • @breewashington08 idk about taking it while pregnant but I do know they are highly addictive! My mom has been addicted to them for years and years. Be careful about that.
  • I'm a pharmacy technician in UK and as far as I'm aware, there haven't been any significant studies made regarding tramadol in human pregnancy. I do know that it can cross the parental barrier and some docs will prescribe it if benefits outweigh the risks and for short term use although, I know of some that won't because its a synthetic opiate and is strong in relation to other pain killers, and also due to the lack of research. It's totally up to you but, if you have any major concerns use your instincts. If you can cope with other meds that are declared safe you will probably feel better about doin that. Not much help I know but the fact is, I don't think anybody really knows for sure! Sorry :-) hope you feel better soon :-) x
  • Placental not parental! Predictive text :-)!
  • A friend of mine abused ultram and lortab during her pregnancy. She even spent a few months in rehab only to start back using them again. She has the most beautiful healthy 4month old. Im not saying take them!! I personally wouldn't unless obgyn says okay. Im just saying if it was going to affect a baby her baby should have been affected. She took large quantities of these drugs.
  • They probably should have given you tylenol w/codeine .
  • Call your ob or pharmacist. However my ob OK Vicodin and tylenol2 w/codeine. Short term for tooth pain if my dentist deams necessary. I do know ultrum is non narcotic....but call do not sit with that pain
  • I took tramadol during my pregnancy for migraines and I was high risk. They only gave it to me when I was in my second trimester though and I only used it a few times. To be honest, tylenol worked a lot better for me.
  • I decided to just take the tylenol an it helpd out a lot. I googled and googled an none of it seemed reassuring enough to risk. I figured they would have just gave me loratab. They actually intially prescribed me percocet but I'm allergic to them that's why they changed it to tramadol. Thanks a lot ladies :)
