I take 3 most days but at least 2. I feel dirty after sweating, cleaning, chasing kids, then the ever so lovely pregnancy discharge (tmi ) I just feel that mid day shower is a must
its the only time i get to relax , and water helps me feel better, and yeah i wash i'm in there might as well do it , only takes a few mins:) I heard that water can soften the cervix?
Baths are actually not good for you in excess because you are sitting in bacteria, bacteria from the drain, the pipes the tub, the other people who shower there. And bacteria can travel to places you don't want it. Even if you clean everything even some soaps can be harmful if in the wrong places. One a day is ok but you may want to limit anymore than that... that's why you can only take sitz baths after delivery
I have never heard that water softens the cervix. It would soften the perineum temporarily but if you want to soften your cervix you can insert evening primrose oil near the cervix or have sex and let him finish inside of you. You don't want to start softening your cervix with evening primrose oil until after the 36th week though.
@isaiahnjocelynsmommy o I take baths not shower, i will have to cut down,and @blissmarie23 im not trying to soften my cervix i'm 12 weeks , i trying to prevent it from softening, @nikalia2626 thanks for the infor. good to know
I don't think 3 baths a day would make you miscarry. But it will def take away the natural oils you need in your hair and on you body. You could become very dry. The more dry you are the more stretch marks you get b.c. your skin is dry and not elasticy..
I take a bath a bout twice a week to help with sore muscles usually only soak for like 20 mins just enough to drain the pain otherwise shower ever other day
