Have you had problems producing in the past? Its normal for milk to not come til baby arrives. I have heard oatmeal helps with milk production, not sure if its true...
I wouldn't wait till you deliver to get with a lactation consultant, where I'm from the have breasts feeding classes that are free from same office where you go for WIC and food stamps, can't think what its called though. But the will show you everything you need to know then your ready once the baby comes
You milk supple won't really come in until after the baby is born. If your going to BF don't mess with your breast trying to pump because the most important supply the baby here is when its first born. It's a very thick and rich supply of concentrated milk the baby will need to suck and clear they way for your supply to he released. The very first initial BF is the most important.
Delivering your baby releases a chemical in your body giving it the signal to create milk. Your real supply takes a few days to come in but babies bellys are as small as a jacks ball and don't require a lot,
when I had my second I had to pump because he was in the nicu for 7 weeks and my milk supply started to diminish my midwives told me to take fenugreek(sp) its an herbal supplement but it helped a great deal I believe you could start taking it before baby as well maybe ask your dr/ midwife about it
