any suggestions?

I'm 10 weeks and for the last couple I've been having back pain. Im not sure if its just a normal 1st trimester symptom or if it's from trying to switch up how I sleep (left side vs right side or back). Just wondering if anyone has experience with this and any suggestions. I was thinking about getting one of those pregnancy pillows.

  • Back pain can def come from trying to get in a new position, poppy pillow helped me a lot. but most women will start to get back pain starting towards end of first trimester. Try a supportive body pillow and give it at least a few days took me almost a week to get used to left side. I hope that helps, otherwise you migrating just have this as part of pregnancy. Good luck!

  • I started sleeping with a pillow in between my legs. I have had back problems before but its so intense lately. I thought it wouldn't start til I am further along but it hasn't.
  • Thanks all. I'll try the pillow between the legs. I didn't realize back pain started so early.
  • You can also try a pillow under your knees when you sleep on your back....while you can!
  • @sherbear81 I usually start out on my ride side and end up on back. I've been trying to break that habit before 2nd trimester but I still often wake up in the middle of the night on my back.

    I got a prego pillow and I will never use a regular body pillow again but u should go in to see if maybe u might have a uti
