loss my baby... (hamster) venting..

So a year ago my husband got me a hamster to help me deal with my miscarriage. I was only 9 weeks. Well, my baby crash died today. Im so crushed and sick to my stomach. Now it feels like I loss two babies. :(...... I know I sound a little pathetic, because of a hamster. But this hamster had a very special place in my heart.

    Aw :( I'm so sorry! Dude, I cried when my goldfish died and when my frog died... all pets can feel like children. So I understand! May your crash rip!

    Oh my god! Same thing happened to me last week RIP Hammy! I even took him to the vet to try and fix him :(

    My husband bought me a kitten after my miscarriage last summer and.we had to get rid of it due to it just peeing and pooping everywhere no matter what we did. I was crushed when we did it. It did feel like I lost another baby too

    I love hampsters, but their lifespan is so short, we can't keep them as pets anymore. Its too sad when they die. : (

    I'm sorry hun. I had a pet hamster I loved soooo much. She was awesome. So nice and sweet. We drove from indiana to texas for 19 straight hours. We were sooo tired when we arrived I forgot all about her. When we woke up we went out to unpack the car and truck. I was at my truck and my husband at his car. He came over to me and said 'guess what we forgot in the car'. I instantly started to cry.

    Its ok to be depressed about it. I cried for a couple days and still think about her. May will be a year since she died. :(

    Its hard to loose something you become so attached to...especially if it has a connection to your miscarriage/baby. Its bound to bring up feelings. Even if you thought you were done with all those feelings. But now you can see that each time you deal with the feelings and talk about it,it gets easier. Now you have a wisdom you can help others with ladies! Much Love :X

    I had a pet rat her name was pancake and I loved her very much. She had a personality all of her own and I think sometimes she thought she was a cat, I could take her out of her cage and put her on the floor and she would follow my feet, and lick! I was devestated when she died. She got a tumor and got very sick and wouldnt eat or anything so I had to put her down and that was about two years ago and I still miss her. I know how you feel even though it was just a hampster sometimes it feels like part of the family, I know pancake did. Hang in there it will get better with time!

    You made me tear up leggs2011. I brought my crash on many roadtrips from ky to Wi and back. So I know my hammie had a great life. Thanks y'all..

    We just had to give my Siamese away because our landlord threatened to evict us. He thinks he is a dog, and is the sweetest, best trained cat ever! I bawled packing his toys and bowls up. I'm still sad :( I'm so sorry honey!

    We didn't know the sex either. We assumed boy though :P
