So this is my 2nd baby, 1st was over 2yrs ago. I'm 32wks and i'm considered high risk w/this one. I've made my list for packing but i'm not sure when I should do it. Any suggestions?
@gettobetty - that sucks! If I had to rely on my husband to pack anything for me, I would be so screwed. @supermom405 & @praying4our3rd - thank u for the advice.
I'm also 32 weeks will be 33 2mrw. I'm high risk plus hve placenta previa, currently on bedrest. My doctor told me its best to pack now because you never know. I'm packed and ready to go just incase.
I plan on being packed by 34 weeks, just in case. However, I'm not high risk. Id rather do it myself than have to rely on my bf to pack it Haha, but I can be picky with little things.
I went ahead and packed my bags last night. I'll still have to add a few things later but at least the bulk of its done. Thank you everyone for the advice.
@dra765 - im planning on packing loose fitting comfy clothes for myself. You'll most likely be in the hospital for 2-5days. You'll need cloths for baby, your bathroom stuff; shampoo,cond.,deodorant....,pads. I think someone posted a really good list a few weeks ago of what all you should pack. Not sure the name though. If you need any more info let me know.
So do you ladies recommend packing the bag at 32 weeks if you're not high risk then? Goodness...that means I have to pack mine like SOON! That makes things a bit more exciting though
I always pack way early an have to rotate what's in there. I pack stuff like draw string or elastic pants cause you never know what clothes will feel right. A pair for there and a pair for home. Comfortable shirts. Clothes for baby. Book. Notebook an a few pens. Phone. Charger. Activity book. My own shampoo condtioner body wash and scrubbie. Lotion. Snacks. And maybe a few other things
@hayleegracesmommy4 - w/my 1st baby I wasn't considered high risk and im pretty sure I packed around 36wks. W/this one I have a higher chance of going early so I didn't want to be unprepared. Its always a good idea to make a list of everything you'll need before you pack, that way hopefully nothing will be forgotten.
