spotting

Today I went to the bathroom and was spotting (very light pink) not long after it was gone. Now its been about an hour and its back just the same light pink not alot at all. Does this happin alot? How long does spotting last?

    Im only around 5 weeks, so not very far. I think I may go to the hospital when my boyfriend gets home. I keep saying its better safe than sorry.
