edited April 2011 in Giving birth
Since we choose natural birth, does that mean we won't have to be induced unless medically needed.

  • Not necessarily, if u r past 42 wks, they'll monitor u n baby and go day by day. Depends on doc or midwives usual practice, ask their opinion and history.
  • aand NO woman has to be induced unless baby is under stress. most inductions r for convenience.

  • No one believes I can do it. More motivation to show them silly women what's up.
  • It's called mommy power. When u want to do something for ur child n the world seems impossible. Somehow we do it ;)
I never in my life felt so much strength till I've conceived my baby boy. I'll do anything for him:) strength to all mothers!
  • :) great advice ladies I'm going natural too and even my bd don't think I will last
  • I was lucky and had a natural birth with my son. I went in not wanting intervention or drugs but would have had both if I felt at the time I needed it. You never really know how you will cope till your there and doing it. I'm really hoping to have another good and positive experience this time round too.
  • Had four natural births. Harder in a hospital but possible with LOTS of support and determination.
  • @jwigs- that's right momma. You can do it!! There are several really great labors of women singing while in labor on youtube. I watch those for encouragement! Especially the one with Temple sings through 2 contractions. Really an amazing video
