  • Maybe her car seat is uncomfortable. My daughter hated her car seat. We ended up having to buy a more comfortable cover
  • My niece did this and we had no idea what was wrong with her but I went and bought her a new pink carseat and she don't cry at all anymore she loves car rides now!
  • Yeah maybe its the carseat..to tight..something poking her..idkdo you have a dvd player in ur car?
  • My daughter did that! The only thing that stopped her was when we turned her car seat to a front facing one when she was big enough! Sorry I wish I had a magic answer. I think my baby was getting car sick cuz it runs in her dads family, that's the only thing I could come up with because my son loved to ride in the car at that age! It was sometimes the only thing I could do to get him to sleep
  • This is her 3rd car seat :/ she's been like this since about 3mo... I've tried all sorts of music, bought almost every baby soundtrack out there with no luck. Yes I have actually set up a dvd player infront of her but she kicks it and continues to cry, at home she absolutly loves baby einstine will sit and watch the entire episode but when I turned it on in the car she will scream... Its to the point where its gettin impossible to take her out which is so sad... Im hoping that eventually the front facing car seat may help but she's a small baby still only 18lbs so its a while away... Thx for the tips! Im open to anything, we both are frustrated and crying when we finally reach any destination. Its like I wanna have a fun day out with my angel and enjoy our time out bonding but can't because the trip there breaks me down as well as her.

Yea..maybe she just doesnt like sitting like that. :(
  • Try a new one. I see she was Sittin in it with a diaper she filled one day on the way home n it hurt her so she hates it lol she had a bad experience and will never live it down. Try gettin the big mirror for the back of the seat to look in. My daughter the second she pees I gotta pull over n change her. Since is say three months she did this and now she yells ouch mommy peed peed eww till I change her.
  • Car seats are so expensive now though, we've tried three different ones and its getting way to expensive to keep changing them :( I try to check her/ change her everytime she starts hardcore screaming... as far as I know she has never hurt herself in it maybe something I didn't know but never any cuts or bruises that Ive seen. Her father likes to tell me its because I spoiled her rotten but I don't believe him since she does it to whoever she's with weather it be me, him, her grandparents, anyone who puts in the evil car seat.
  • My daughter did the same exact thing untill she was forward facing. It was so bad. I didnt go anywhere.
  • Try the mirror then get one u can see her in it n vise versa. And it just was pressure from a diaper was odd feeling. Thts wut im gettin off her. And she thinks trees r scary lookin at them backwards. She might feel woozy rear facing. My daughter was front facing early cause her weight and was peachy lol
  • Im thinking the only way for her to stop is just wait till she's big enough to face forward :( I wish shed grow quickly... I switch off between the mirror and the dvd player neither distract her the least bit unfortunatly
  • My daughter did the same thing the only way she would be quiet was if I played I Feel the Earth Move by Carol King. I have no idea why. My son was the same way his was Laurie Berkner.
  • Now they are 3 and 22 months and fine in a car so eventually it ends. I drove an hour one way 3 times a week it was ridiculous.
  • Does she cry if you leave a room and she can't see you anymore? It sounds like seperation anxiety to me. They go through a stage where if she can't see you, she thinks you don't exist anymore. It might help to get her a mirror and to play games with her like peekaboo. It might be something you have to deal with too. I used to put on loud music when my daughter got like that and we had to go somewhere.

  • She is very much a mommy addict. She freaks whenever im not around, ever since birth really it hasn't been a fase so far... I've tried the mirror and treats... seems like nothing will break her from any of her anxieties...
