First Dr. Appointment!

Hi Im 23 and im 7 weeks and 8 weeks of pregnancy?(idk how that works) I have my fist appt on friday and super excited. Im so anxious see/hear the heartbeat so i can feel some type of relief being that i had a MC back in july. Hubby and I are.really trying to stay positive but friday cant seem to get here any sloweeer!!

    You are 7 weeks and so many days. Those so many days really means you are in your 8th week of pregnancy. But rounding up to 8 weeks confuses people.

    Congrats!!! Don't freak out if you can't heart the heartbeat on the Doppler yet. It can take sometimes 12 weeks or more to hear it because your uterus is still behind your pelvic bone. I know how scary it can be after a m/c as well. I had one in may and now im 23 weeks pregnant with my second little girl!! Just relax and enjoy your pregnancy, it goes by fast!

    I had a MC not too long ago as well, and I am about 8-9 weeks. They did an ultrasound my first visit. We saw the heart beating and heard it as well. It was beautiful. I wish you the best of luck and I'm sure every thing will with out great.

    I called my Dr. today to get my hcg levels and the nurse couldn't find the number on the computer. (she had issues with the computer when I was at the appointment with her) Then she asked me if I had been spotting and I told her I did yesterday. She asked me if I was when i went to the appointment on thursday and I told her no. Then she wanted me to change my appointment up from the 28th of feb. to now the 14th. Should I worry, or is she just being careful?
