Why am i getting screwed around with at my job....because im pregnant?

Ugh! So I'm a dispatcher for an EMS company...I have been wuth them a total of 3 years, through my first pregnancy, and now this one...I sit at a desk nearly all day, so its not hardly any physical activity, but very very much mental! The problem is, I'm leaving for maternity leave May 12th.....I ask for only one day off, which is May 7th...and what do you know, the ONLY AND I DO MEAN ONLY day I'm scheduled to work is MAY 7th....talk about one mad momma! I'm not just upset about this time, stuff like this has happened several times, even when things weren't going so well for a while with my pregnancy, and the doctor put me working only 8 hours a day instead of 12, with a doctors note, I was still told that at this business, we work 12 hour shifts, if I can't handle it then I'm in the wrong business. I've had it! I almost want to just leave them hanging (since I'm not returning after my maternity leave....I found employment elsewhere) and take an early maternity leave!

    That's what I'm thinking about doing! Ha and not only that, we are short handed here, but the supervisor made a comment about not hiring young girls because all we want is insurance to cover our pregnancy! Wich I think is imny because I'm on my husband's insurance anyways, and his company pays 100% of him and his family!

    That's true! I have so much dirt on them! Then another girl had her baby, and got a call from the supervisor telling her she needs to come back to work or she wont have a job.. .this was two weeks after she delivered and had a c-section.....she still had her staples in.

    I agree with @singlemomofsoontobe3. I was forced to quit a job because I started dating my manager (husband now), and this girl there lied and said we don't work well together so I got switched to only working twice a week for 3-5 hours and the owner treated me like sh!t. I couldn't do anything right, not even put bags of food in the right place. Once a guy ran into me and they blamed him being distracted and not looking on me while I was just walking by. When my husband quit that job, the owner kept all of his paycheck except $20. He didn't congratulate us when we got married or when we found out that I'm pregnant. F##k that guy. Ooh, its nice to vent about nasty bosses, huh? :D

    Oh man :( im scared I start my job in the next week or so and they don't know im pregnant...yet. I worked for them before two years ago and know how they are about girls there when they tell them there pregnant. Reading this makes ne scared, I can't lose this job or hours...I really need it! :( and as for ur job I would take an early leave for sure!!!!!
