spotting @ 8 wks

Yesterday after work I noticed I had some pink spotting. By the time I got home it had turned brown. I've had no cramping. We heard the heartbeat @ the last u/s and found out I have a cyst on my right ovary. Dr said it would slough off as soon as the embryo burrows deeper and placenta takes over. Could this be what happened?

    Spotting is very common in the first trimester. As long as you're not bleeding more than that and have no cramping, I think you're fine. Good luck Hun

    At 8 weeks, its more than likely implantation bleeding, and its completely normal, but dont neglect to tell your doctor about it. &congrats on the pregnancy :-)
