  • I think 6 weeks ?
  • I think it depends on the birth.
  • oh, cause ive heard people do it earlier
  • 6 weeks but with my first we waited 11 days. I still get nerve pain from where the stitches were. Just cause they are gone doesn't mean you're healed lol
  • i went vaginal and had no stitches, but my son was 7 weeks premature
  • The drs say 6 weeks. Also been told a full week after you stop totaly stop bleeding
  • cause im already getting there and i know the hubby is waiting anxiously lol

They say six weeks but my hubby and I couldn't wait that long. We started 3 weeks after but I had a really easy vaginal delivery and we had been dying to get together for a week (which doesn't seem long but it felt like an eternity) lol
You will need to use protection though because ur extremely fertile right now
  • i waited till i wasnt sore n stopped bleeding. its been alittle over 2 weeks n we do it every other day lol
  • i was told 6 weeks .

  • I waited about 2wks too n we probably only did it that once... but if u want to b put on some type of birth control the docs want u to wait until after u see them to have sex bcuz u may b pregnant n then u will have to wait a lil while for a preg test to start bc
  • I wouldn't before 6 weeks, but that's just me. Risks of infection increases dramatically before 6 weeks. I couldn't imagine having sex within just a couple weeks because I was too focused on my daughter. We waited the 6 weeks and everything was fine, except I got pregnant again! I found out the day i was supposed to get my iud placed. We were using a condom and I got pregnant. I lost the baby at 11 weeks. :( You are very fertile after having a baby, so if you decide to break the rules, just remember to be very, very cautious! And breastfeeding is NOT a birth control, and no birth control is 100% effective. Good luck hun and congrats!! :D
  • @bri2186 lol! i had to wait since my second trimester girl im making up for the lost time haha!

  • I had sex with hubby when my daughter was two days old. Hubby washed up before, and we took it easy, cause I was sore, but we were fine. Talk to your doc, though.
  • I had csection but pushed till she was crowning and I still had to wait the 6 weeks like if I had full vag. I only waited 4 weeks n had pain n bleeding horably and had to go to er from damage. I would take it slow and me carefull either way. N use a rain coat
