when is the best time for first dr visit!

I'm 7 week today and when I called to make my first Dr appt which was Feb 2 they scheduled me for March 3 a whole month later. I will be 10 weeks around that time but I feel like that's too late to be your first Dr appt. Does anyone remember how far along they were when they scheduled their first Dr appt? I'm really considering calling to reschedule to an early date.

    If you had complications in a pregnancy before or feel that your family history can put you at high risk during pregnancy let them know and they will schedule you at an earlier date. Ive had insida ovarian assysts before as well as a misscarriage si they have to see me early on. Gl though :)

    When I called to make my first appointment, they said they like to wait until you're 8 weeks along just to make sure that there's a baby in there (anything can happen so early on). But they made my appointment for that week. Maybe they've had a cancellation and you can move it up to the 8th or 9th week. Good luck :)

    Mine doesn't schedule them till ten or eleven due to the high chance of mc in the first trimester that can't be stopped

    Will at ur pregnancy weeks u will only c ur doc onces a month anyways till u get futher along ..
