monistat 3 or 7

So I am 36 weeks n I got my first yeast infection I called my doctor she said to get monistat 3 day or 7 day...I was just wondering which one I should get?

7 alot of people say that the 3 days rarely work. I just read on the other post you can douche with vinegar and water

I would go with 7 to make sure. Ive used 3 before and had to do it twice.

7. It takes longer, but you have a better chance of getting rid of the infection completely.

Monistat 7. I was told never to douche while pregnant especially in the 3rd trimester.

I was told 7 because each application is less strong as in the 3, but you end up getting more over the course week.
