Has anyone else been told in their ultrasound that there baby is very active?

edited January 2011 in Pregnant
Hi, I'm due June 8th and I was told in both the ultrasounds that my baby was very active. Well I thought that was just because it was early on and the movement are not controlled but just impulses. well I'm 20 weeks now and she moves all the time, last ultrasound she was in breech and is killing my bladder I thought I had a UTI cause I pee every hour it seems. Will it get better?

  • Sweetie honestly it will only get worse. Lol my little girl is the same way. She moves nonstop and also kicks down so it feels like having a uti for me as well. But be very happy she is active and not the opposite. I'm due may 2nd.
  • Yea thats what the doctor said, she said that just means she's doing well, congrats to your little one, May 2 is my oldest sisters birthday.
  • I was told the same at my second ultrasound, they even had a hard time getting the spinal measurements "it" was do wiggly. We go in on the 20th to find out pink or blue I am hoping the extra movement will help with getting a good view. But as of now "it " kicks in every direction, front, back, up, down and everything in between. I have been telling my dh that we are having a nocturnal kick boxer.
  • Thats the same thing I said to my boyfriend, the way she looks on the ultrasound is like she's doing that brazillian dance fighting, Capoeira, lol. She's very entertaining, I cant wait to meet her, lol
  • I have one of those too. I suspect these little acrobats will have HUGE personalities!
  • Oh boy! I was told that at my last ultrasound and I'm only 12 weeks so I haven't felt anything yet! Looks like I'm in for a treat, LOL... this pregnancy is already much more uncomfortable than my first one was the entire time! :)
  • I have a question for ariels_mommy how do you say ariel.. Is it like R-E-L or like the mermaid? My name is like R-E-L
  • like the little mermaid :)
  • My tech said the same thing at my sonograms. The baby moves so much. But my baby is breech currently & it scares the shit out of me! Im 33 weeks, so I dont have a whole lot of time left. I hope he/she turns soon.
  • From 12 weeks on up to 29 weeks (now) my baby has always been super active and loves to push himself into my bladder. The consistent bathroom visits will only get worse, sorry to say. Watch out for sciatica pains. From baby and uterus growing you may start to find you'll feel a pain in your lower buttocks which runs down the back of your thigh. Just started getting them after hearing about them in child birth class.
  • Sciatic pains are THE worst. I get them every night. Indigestion & heart burn also got worse with time for me.
  • What exactly is sciatic pains?
  • My baby is suprr active too but dr says its normal i went to the ultrasound 2 days ago and they had a hard time measuring and finding out she is a girl because of that they gave me 85% she is girl im hoping its true
