3 hr glucose test?

So I got a call yesterday from the docs office that my 1 hr test came back high so I need to go in for the 3 hr. So I'm going tomorrow to do the 3 hr n I hope it comes back normal :/ I hate needles so yea I really dont wanna do it but I know it has to get done. I just dont wanna end up having gest. diab. Anyone do the 3 hr test n have it come back normal?

    I just went through the same thing! Failed the 1 hour, and a week later I passed the 3 hour. It did suck, Im not goint to lie! I just have bad veins, so the blood draws are always a challange. My dr. Gave me a special diet to follow 3 days prior to taking the 3 hour test. Were you put on a diet? Good luck!

    I did with my son 2 years ago. Everything was fine. But scared me too. I wish you luck hun.

    No diet im just staying away from the sweets n sodas n stuff like that. My veins are hard to find so its also a challenge.

    Drink lots of water like a lot. It helps find veins case I have the same problem

    I agree with @contrymommaof2stb3 Make sure you drink lots and lots of water! It certainly helps with finding the veins.
