are you a screamer?

For the mommies to be again were you a screamer during labor? When I was in labor with my first son I could her the girl across the room screaming and cussing at everyone, i was thinking omg, is it that bad? but I was quite and calm, even though at times I wanted to scream at dh lol, it was the same with my second son :) my sil delivered 16 days after my second was born and she was angry she cussed her mom out eeekkk!

And for those who have yet to give birth how do you think you will be during labor?

  • With my first- hell yeah, I was the cliche mother in labour lmao, I screamed, told them I'd changed mind and so on. With my second I was calm and quiet...so I feeling a screaming session for this one x
  • I didn't scream at all. I just would breath through my contractions and after 14 hours I finally got my epidural and slept for 4 hours and woke up to push.
  • this will be my first I want to be calm but I mite cuss lol
  • Nope, I didn't make one noise. It takes more energy to scream than to push :)
  • @preggointx are you refering to labor? lol j/k
@aandk1031 lol :"> opps i was kinda misleading with that!
@one5one my dr cut me to, I didn't notice I was extremly tired I was in labor 45 hours I-)
@almost4 they should of let you be loud. the girl across from me was way loud and it scared me but was i was at the pushing point I forgot all about her.
@cheryl74 lol does it help with labor? at times I felt like doing that but didn't
@redhead25 i watched a video of a women on youtube give birth all natural and was so calm and quite she made it look easy.
@jellybeans_mommy lol my hubby made me want to cuss him out the first time I was in labor but I just ignored him lol :)
  • I screamed but I had a very horrible
    delivery. I almost died.
  • @mommyoftwoprincesses :) sounds like me except I didn't even think about how much energy screaming would use!
  • @proudmum oh wow, I'm sorry to hear that! are you preggo now? sorry if it's a stupid question I don't know everyone on here :)
  • Lol I heard it takes more energy and now it makes sense.
  • yes it makes alot of sense :)

@proudmum I hope this labor goes alot more smoothly :)
  • Yea I have to say at first I screamed when the baby ready started comeing but my doc told me there is no since in that and to push so I did I didn't have drugs at all and he had to cut me twice but the whole deal only took like 45min. ..... ok let me tell you the funniest thing gauges head was out but I didn't kn his cord was wrapped around is neck twice and cutting off oxygen so the doc said... I need you to stop pushing I was so caught up and wanting it over I sat up grabbed his head and. Said fine I will just get him myself lol after it was over my doc said man I have never seen anything like it. (Im using the same doc this time he is recommending I have drugs lol* )
  • Wow u took command huh @suzy
@3rd_bumps_a_charm ouch long labor!! I'm expecting longer one this time around. I felt rushed the first time & didn't like it! Hub didn't even get to cut the cord. Hopefully this time I can be in more control & not so rushed. I hope I don't have complications either. I'm high risk & somehow I know this ones coming a bit early.
  • I more growled at people lol.. my mom was telling me everything was alright and I was doing good and I looked her and was like shut up!!! hubby was too interested watching but was holding my hand.. he knows me so well out of the way but holding on yo me(;
  • I think I'm a puncher first time ill be delivering hoping I punch husby out
  • I didn't scream with either of mine, but I definately cried with my first. I was also on oxygen so I was having a hard time breathing. Screaming prolly wouldn't have helped matters much.

@suzy yeah both my kids were like that. I was like first you tell me to oush then I can't?! Wtf... and it was worse with my son because he passed his first bowel movement inside, so they had his head out moving the umbilical cord and sucking the crap out his nose before he cried

  • Nope, I didn't make a peep!
