  • Its my second boy by the way..my other one will turn 4 in june..;)
  • They have an ointment in the baby section of Walmart that helps with the pain and sore nipples. Also if you want him to have breastmilk you could always try a breastpump.
  • I got a nipple shield at the hospital when I had my first baby and it really helps! It is plastic and covers your whole nipple to protect it. Also you can use lanolin ointment to help out with soreness. Just know the first week is the hardest... you will both get the hang of it if you can stick it out!!! good luck
  • i would say go get some lansonal aply it before and after each feeding.. not right before but before.. watch some instructional videos on line to make sure you have the latch right.. if you want to do it you have to bare through the pain.. it will go away soon.. i promise.. good luck girl..and really the lansonal really helps.. and the dr. says its safe if they nurse after and application
  • lanolin thats what its called .. i dont know why i always get it wrong.. sorry
