Ovarian cyst

Finally got a call from my doctor (well his nurse) with the results of my first ultrasound. The baby is fine. However I have an ovarian cyst which is causing the bleeding that I've been having. I am to refrain from sex, heavy lifting, hot tubs and anything that gets my heart rate up. Has anyone else had an ovarian cyst and has it caused any problems during pregnancy or child birth?

    I have it was painfull for me had surgery after my firdt baby and was fine but they will always cm bk....

    Painful how? And did It cause complications when you gave birth?

    I had one and it ruptured while I was preggo......the baby and I underwent surgery .......I told the doctor to make sure they didn't hurt my baby.....well its been almost 11 years and my son was born a month early weight of 6lbs 8 oz and healthy as a horse.....Do what they tell you and if you get really bad pains deffinately call the doc or go to th er....it hurts so bad when they rupture you would know......take it easy and hopefully it will disappear on its own.....be careful.........Good Luck
