first time alone

Today I am 5 months pregnant and going to the doctor for a check up. Today will be different though because my boyfriend wont be there and that's making me nervous. He has been to every other appointment, extremely involved, and hates he can't make it but he can't get out of his business meeting. What if today they want to tell me the sex? Or I get to hear the heartbeat? I don't want him to miss anything important. Plus I am scared of getting looks from other women in the waiting room. There sits a pregnant lady with nobody next to her. Ugh. Any words of encouragement?

    U dont have 2 worry about u being the only one there alone. At my doctors there r alot of women there alone. And as 4 ur bf missing out that sucks. U can tell ur doctor u dont want 2 know the sex of ur baby until ur bf is with u.

    same to me my bf has to work and we find out on valintines day and he cant be their im so nervouse....keep ur head up hopefully we get a miracle... :)
