I jus got thm...havin a huge issue it seems lik nothin works everyone keeps sayin it will go away once the babys r born but they hurt n highly uncomfortable
Well I had them before I got pregnant, I also inheritaded (sp?) Them. But I've been so constipated lately that I've even bled from them. My dr gave me a steroid cream which seems to help but is there any foods that would make my poop softer? Sorrrry girl tmi I know.:(
Eat stuff that has flax seed. It helps with bowel movements. U can buy whole flax seeds at the store and make a "tea" with them. My mom bought me some blue corn chips with flax from target. Its the archer farms brand. They are pretty good.
Broccoli, corn.....anything with fiber. Drinking lots of water helps too. I also use 25mg hydrocortisone suppositories which work wondering no time. One more thing....no toilet paper...use wet wipes Hope it gets better...mine come & go but doc says it's from baby.
You can take miralax and colace to soften your poop....miralax tasteless powder you put in any liquid....colace is soft gel pill...def help so you don't strain so hard and make the dang roids worse
I took stool softener that was also a laxative...it took a few days but it worked...stay away from bananas rice apples toast (the brat diet) it will stiffen up your big potty and make things worse
Go to your local pharmacy and ask for docusate sodium. I can get 100 for $4..I get it when I get my prenatal rx..also 100ct. Its just a stool softener not laxative..u dnt want to get a laxative it will make u go more that will make it worse{hemorroids}. Take 2 pills everyday till u go #2 then 1 everyday. And preparation h makes a nice cleansing cloth..they give u lots at the hospital, continue the docusate after birth you'll need it after too. Hope this helps!
