Hi ladies. I wanted to send this post out as encouragement for all the momma's who have or are experiencing bleeding and cramping. I'm 8 weeks now and I started cramping last week and bleeding on Friday and throughout the weekend. I was sure I was have another miscarriage (I've had 3) and had an ultrasound done today. Baby looked great and had a heartbeat of 172. Apparently the bleeding was coming from my cervix and not the uterus. My doctor explained to me that just about anything you do can cause bleeding. Hopefully this encourages anyone who's having bleeding. If you need to talk or ask questions I'm here for support. Good luck in your pregnancies!

    I remember it feeling that way with my first (then again I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 15 weeks!) but time seems to be dragging with this pregnancy. Maybe it'll go faster after the first trimester! I sure hope so...

    aww, that's sweet. I was so wrong about the sex of my first baby. I thought I was carrying a girl and he proved me wrong the first time he flashed us. Wasn't shy about it either! This time I'm pretty sure it's a girl, but we'll see. This pregnancy feels completely different from my last one.

    I bled once with clogs..went to ER, everythingb ooked great. Cervix closed... but iv been on bed rest for a mnth... Im.ready to.go bak to work....

    I was lucky that I didn't have clots with the bleeding. My doctor told me to stay off my feet as much as possible for the rest of the first trimester (hardly possible with a 5 month old but I'm doing my best). I remember that with my son I bled throughout the second and third trimester. I think it's scarier in the first trimester because that's when a miscarriage is most likely and it can be hard to tell if the bleeding is leading up to that. Something I was curious about though, I was under a lot of stress today, does that make baby's heart go up as well as mine? Last Wednesday it was in the 140's and today it was in the 170's.

    Im bleeding no cramping but ive bled like 3 times now im 9wks and 2nd day I called doc they said I should be find. Still a lil worried im always so nervous about everything. I'm staying calm I had a ultrasound at 7weeks 3days & the heart rate was 150 the blood work came bk normal to

    @Chelsea91, I know what you're going through. I am very nervous about everything as well. My dr told me this morning that an ultrasound would show more than bloodwork at this point. If you're still nervous about it I would call and request an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok. A good obgyn will not deny that request.

    @Chelsea91 I agree with tiff if ur nervous Adult for ultrasound it will help put ur mind @ ease try to relax the more u stress more u may bleed. Prayfully everything will b fine.
    @tiff87124 thanks really thought about names its still early but I wanted to do something that takes mind of things from stressing. Thinking in back of mind miscarriage.so far just cramping God bless these babies
