should i go to the er??

I'm 37w4d....I haven't felt my baby boy move almost all day.....I've been laying in bed since 10 waiting for him to move, abd its 1144 now, and still nothing should I go to the er?

    I'm not a rush to the er person either for every little thing....this is my second pregnancy, and I've had some minor problems along the way.....with my first, I never mad it this far into the pregnancy, I was induced early....I just didn't know is slowing of movement is normal this late I pregnancy....usually I pay very close attention when he move, and he usually does right when I lay down....but still nothing....I was cleaning a lot today and don't think I over did it....I just asked my husband about us going to the er....the answer I got was I'm sure he's fine.....dang, I didn't know he had a doctorate degree

    @preggointx although home dopplers are fun, they should not be used to monitor the Well being of your baby. The baby could still be in danger even though it has a heart beat. Just btw(:

    @mommyfever they might not but they can ease thoughts when ur baby haven't moved all day it's not to monitor the health but to keep down stress levels because no one can go in for every concern :)

    I hate hospitals. I've only been once this whole pregnancy and that was because i had a wreck. Im 35 weeks now and if i were you i would for sure go!!!! It can't hurt to check everything

    Call your doctor to let him/her know what is going on. If it would make u feel better, which i am sure that it would. Also you know the pattern of your little one if you r concerned then you should be cked to make sure everything is fine

    i had the same thing in my first pregnancy. realised at 7.30pm that bubs hadnt moved all day went to the hospital and they put me on a monitor, but said to have my hands on the top of my belly so i could feel movement that way too (thats where he was normally most active) everything ended up being fine and he was just in a comfortable position and didnt want to move, but i was so glad i did go in and the reassurance was better than sitting home and stressing.
