Hurt when i hunch over

edited May 2011 in Pregnant
Have a feeling someone is going to say don't do that, but just curious, and I know I can't hurt baby, but is it because I'm squishing baby and my innards??? I usually am only comfy if I'm in a crushed little ball on the couch. Now that I'm poking out, that seems impossible. I didn't think it would happen that fast. I'm 16.5 weeks so is this it for now for bending over and sitting like this and curling up?

  • Just find a more comfortable position. Sometimes you just have to try out a few things. Add a pillow sometimes that helps!
  • Hmm....maybe. I'm only comfy if I'm smushing her ;) the first time I felt her kick I was laying on my belly. She wasn't happy! She's going to smack me on arrival!

My hubby yells at me all the time for sitting weird... Tells me Im squishing them. But I just tell him that I rarely find a comfy position, I'm going to sit however I'm comfortable. To try to imagine having two people in your belly fighting for room. lol

Lol @mommyof4girls, I'll be squished up on the couch and then all of a sudden feel like I'm being poked and stretched from the inside and it hurts and I yell out "OK OK Already!!" And my hubby is looking at me like I am completely nuts while I sit up straighter and put my legs all the way out. The pain goes away immediately so I know it is the little bean hitting the move it button. :)
