unhappy about due dates

I would do anything to have another baby yet as its getting closer to march ( if I where to concieve that month would be due near xmas) I'm getting worried about an xmas baby am I just being silly I mean if it happens ild be happy a baby is a blessing :) anyone else feel the same about there due dates or having a xmas baby?

    I dno I just don't want to be due around xmas I know so many people who have been due then and not had a gd time at xmas or been able to do things for xmas etc and I hate hosps so I couldent stand being in one around then I really don't know why I feel like this its annoying for me as a babys a joy no matter when they arrive and I should see it as an amazzing xmas present from above. God I'm being silly over nothing

    I have two relatives that were born around Christmas time and they have not complain. One was born on the 23rd and the other was born on the 4th.

    I guess its how you look at it.

    What they would do is include their birthday shopping with the Christmas shopping. It just an extra gift. Some have said they would rather get the gifts on Christmas.

    Sorry to be a Debbie downer but honestly my birthday is the 30th of December and it sucks. I tried to change it every year when I was little. Instead of getting 2 presents I just get one, I've never had a birthday party bc Christmas n new years left no time (or money to have one ) for me, and most people forget my birthday anyways.
    If you do have a baby around Xmas Just be sure to remember that their bday is just as important as anyone else's and I don't think you'll have any regrets! Good luck :)

    That was one of my concerns that people tend to forget etc mines on haloween and that's a nightmare cos people already have plans etc and money cos u want to give your child the best bdays and xmas etc and around xmas everyones moneys tight etc I'm sure will be fine if I am blessed but I am hoping to concieve around vday :p month of love hehe x

    Did you remind people your birthday was coming up. Your bday is around one of the busiest times of the year. I would have sent out reminders out to people letting them know to save up some money.

    I guess I can try to understand how you feel.

    Has anyone tried to incorporate your bday with new years?

    @ladiiofcurves I see my entire family on Christmas every year and remind them but the only calls I get are from my Grama and my aunt. And I have a huge family. We even have a family calendar which shows everyone's bday on it. Everyone has always been to busy w other plans to celebrate my bday on new years. Just like this past year. My bf (so sweet) tried to throw me one but no one showed bc they were too busy preparing for new years. It was totally the thought that counted n we had a good time together.

    I'm kinda dissapointed when I'm due its sept 10t I said the only day I dont wasnt to have a child is sept 11 for obvious reasons. Plus now I will b in my 2nd and 3rd trimester throughout spring and summer and its hottie here's...no big its still a blessing

    I agree with you on the Christmas one... why not just stop trying to conceive that month & pick up where you left off the following month? No harm done!
    My first child was due on the birthday of a dear friend I had that had passed away just a year before I got pregnant & for some reason I dreaded that she'd be born that day, but luckily she came 9 days early.
    Now this baby is due right near 2 family birthdays of people I'm not close to or particularily care for, so I'm hoping I skip out on those as well!!!

    I would but never know that could be the month I could concieve if its ment to be that month then its ment to be even being due in jan would meen waddling rnd on xmas day and nt enjoying xmas dinner hehe aww my lil girl was given 2 due dates my mums bday and my partners and she missed both lmao xx

    I had this post up a week ago or so, my due date is April 26th, I'm trying to dodge the 20th, 24th, 25th and 26th, its horrible.

    as long as you make an effort for the kid, Im sure it'll be okay. My sisters bday is early feb, so we'd always make sure to go above and beyond to have a really special day for her, even tho we just spent a lot of money/present ideas a few weeks earlier. She loved all the individual attention right after such a 'family' time.
    Dont worry, if the kid complains, you can always say the alternative is their non-existance :p
