I drink it, I work 10 hour night shifts 5 days a week and I'm on my feet through out, I get 6 hours sleep then I've got my 2 yr old to look after. I think I'd break down without it! Lol
I pretty much drink everything...well after my first trimester was over that's when I started...the first trimester is when u really want to save yourself and be careful. with my first preg I ate and drank whatever I wanted and my little munchkin is 1 and smart!
I heard cup a day its just nice to know other moms do it too besides me I did it with my first child he was small and wasn't very active at first this one in my belly is pretty active and im 18 weeks and I can feel him or her
I've heard decaf but I LOVE iced mocha mmm I try not to drink it everyday especially cuz I make it myself with Maxwellhouse mmm again I don't want to finish my toddlers milk lol but ive heard of women b4 pregnant drank coffee everyday and then switched to decaf same cups just decaf and sweetnlow...
I agree with @allie8955 the first trimester is when we should be more careful so ima stop my iced mocha obsession :-(( for my baby ;-) I should also put dwn more rules for my self for the next month like house work and I should sleep all day and nite if I'm not here I didnt leave I'm just in a deep sleep I-) lol jk my kids can't take care of themselves lol but I'm serious bout myself n da mocha... I can wait...:D
My doc recommended it for.my migraines too, but only after my first trimester. I'm not goin to lie....It's about 2-3 cups a day. I plan on cutting it out completely at 30 weeks though.
@xIlovebzdlx I drink iced coffee from dunkin or just 1 soda when I have one. It's not that it causes miscarriages but what you eat baby does so the baby gets a lil kick from it. And if you consume to much it can cause heart problems when the heart is being constructed and cause birth defects. Like energy drinks are a no no. But a soda or coffee a day is ok, once the baby is bigger he/she may keep you up at night as a result as well. (they respond to caffeine like a toddler so coffee in the morning is your best bet) but for a calm baby they suggest low sugar intake. Good luck with your munchkin.:)
I think the miscarriage thing isn't based just on the caffine it has other factors related to it than just that. I asked my doc about this and she said just stick to 200 milligrams a day and you should be good
