  • lay on your left side, heat pack,.warm bath, message if ur in second or third trimeter good luck hope it eases
  • Second tri . But they said heat pads arent safe .
  • Yes I have horrible back pain, it is my lower back right above my butt, its my SI joints. Hormones during pregnancy make joints hypermobile, and move around alot. They hurt so bad, the thing that helps me most is stretching like one knee as close to my chest with out pain then two knees to my chest. It relives the pain for a little while. Good luck I hope it gets better!
  • Yeah that's where mine is also . It hurts so bad . Thank you ill have to try that . I try to keep elevated during the nite . But I feel lik nothing works .
  • I used a wheat bag through both my first 2 pregnancies just dont make it super hot, also used in labour
  • I feel like nothing helped till I stretched. I also realized that if I sit more than an hour at a time then I have extreme pain. Walking has also helped me!! It relives muscle aches and pains
  • Try a belly belt they support the weight and reduce back pain.
  • I'm only 13 weeks an I'm not showing but my back hurts the whole time I'm at work I fell like crying some times
  • Where do you get a belly belt.. I work a lot and my back is always killing me at work
  • See I'm eighteen and I'm in so much pain. I dread going to bed at nite cause I'm in so much pain ):
  • Eighteen weeks lol
  • You can buy belly belts at walmart, ididnt like those ones as much but got a really good one from the bay. Makes a huge difference, you can check online as well.
  • How much do they run . I.really am gonna get one tomorrow lol
  • They come in different sizes and range from $20-$40 I kind of forget but totally worth it and you can return them if you don't notice a difference.
  • Oh girl I have the worse bback pain im waiting on therapy now. But u can use a heating pad on a lower
  • On lower setting for like 10-15 min at a time. That's what my doc told. E c my first appt I asked aout icy hot and that is a no no.
  • I feel the same,, I bought a body pillow one of the king size ones it helped for that day an works for naps but doesnt work at night,,
  • You can get a good support belt from your dr and insurance should cover it. You can use a hot pad because its not your whole body, just spot heating Just don't bundle up and get super hot. Try a pillow behind your back for support at night. Or a hot shower, as long as your not in there an hr it wont hurt. But it will help relax those muscles. As much stretching as you can. Try walking up stairs, take one step, one foot up, while other on lower stair. then roll your hips like belly dancing, using elevation to really stretch and get a good rotation. do this the whole way up. My midwife showed me this helped a TON! Belly dancing and Hula dancing were created for child birth. Moves the baby down and helps ease the pain and tense muscles..
  • My back is killing.me but its my uperback between my shouders
