edited May 2011 in Pregnant
I just switched obgyns @31 wks & my new obgyn accepted my primary insurance & not my secondary. So I have to switch again my secondary is medicaid. I'm 32 weeks no one is willing to accept me cause I'm so far along in my pregnancy, what do I do?

  • The clinics don't accept my primary
  • The clinics don't accept my primary insurance
  • Go back to your first. We have clinics here like family planning and christ community who don't deny anyone
  • If you have Medicaid why do you need your primary insurance? I thought Medicaid fully covered you while pregnant and 6 weeks after. Unless that's only in certain states.
  • Because I don't know how to get off united health its under my parents
  • Don't tell them you have united health
  • Call Medicaid they will give you a list of doctors that will accept you and I'm sure can help you figure out your other insurance issues
  • In Tennessee medicaid knows if you have other insurance and will deny payment until the primary insurance is billed.
  • You can't get off united health, your parents hve to do that for you. And depending on hiw they have it..like if its thru work they can't take you off till nov/dec
  • Yeah, I know I can't get off because its thru work but I faxed my papers to another office & hopefully just hopefully they'll accept me
