Omg. I use to smoke like 3 cigs a day till I found out I was prego. I've been smoke free for a lil over a month and I don't kno how I could stand to smoke them in the first place. My bf still smokes nd when he comes near me I swear he smells like he been rollin round a ashtray all day! I don't kno how my exs could stand to be around me when I smoked cuz I honestly hate the smell and get sick. Just today I was leavin school and some ppl like to stand in the gazebo and smoke. The smell travels and I almost died. Its even worse when I'm walkin and someone in front of me is smoking. The smoke goes down my throat. I hate it

    I think that is just an ex smoker thing. I smoked for 7 years, 2 packs a day when I had an epiphany and decided to quit 4 years ago. I HATE the smell. Now it makes me nauseous, too. It is awful. I think it's worse for ex smokers than non smokers.

    I smoked about a half a pack a day for ten years...I quit cold turkey Jan 3rd the moment I found out...it was hard at first, but now I'm pretty much over it...once in a while I think about it, because my bf still smokes (not in the house) but its sooooo not worth it!!! I don't plan on ever starting back up either :)

    I smoked a lot off and on but I was never addicted-addicted. There were times when i'd be so stressed and be like, 'I need a cigg NOW!' But I also could stop for long periods of time so my mom wouldn't find out. :p When I found out I was pregnant I up and quit. I decided I won't be going back after my baby's born either. :) The smell of ciggarettes nauseate me to no end. It never really did anything for me and I have a long life ahead of me, I need me some healthy lungs. :)

    So proud of u ladies! I quit ciggs last summer n marijuana the day before i found out i was preggo cuz i didnt wna smoke one more day if i was. I did em both cold turkey n dnt even plan on going back. I have someone beside myself to live for now, its a wonderful feeling.

    Safe n happy pregnancy to all. I kinda kne I was prego cuz the last cig I had made me throw up. Like 2 days later found out I was preggers. Its so bad that my bestie mom goes out in the hallway to save me from naseua(?). And she smoke cigs wit all 4 of her kids

    And doesn't it feel good to breathe fresh air ladies? How our lungs actually open and you can feel it? Best decision I made and I will not be goin back to cigs. Now my weed is another story. After breastfeedin I may do it from time to time.

    I used to smoke about 4 cigarettes a day at work..i just found out i was pregnant on Friday and that i am also 8weeks!my husband was upset with me cuz i was smoking but how was i suppose to know i was pregnant if i had an irregular period..well as of now i can't stand the smell and it disgusts me so i guess I'm over it ha!

    I stopped smoking nov.3, and so happy I did because I found out I concieved around nov 27th. I am guessing its probably a ton easier to quit before than to do it cold turkey. Congrats to all the mommys to be that have quit, I imagine it was really tough so YAY ALL!!!!!!

    I also quite nov 2009, but after another mc last aug I started up again, then one day last month I thought I'm just gonna quite again. I found out I was prego 2 wks later. Woo whoop.feels great
