Being induced friday

And boy am I nervous, just got outta drs and my blood pressure is going back up so he said before it gets any higher for mine and the babies safety we getting induced. Im 3cm and not effaced yet any quick suggestions on helping that process?

    Squats for 30 seconds every 30 minutes. Lots of walking.

    Good luck hun! Getting induced really isn't that bad, I liked my induction. Try squatting, walking, rocking on a birthing ball, and sex. Those are your best choices. Good luck again and congrats! :)

    Me too I woke up each hour and then some, but on my way up right now, so anxious its making me sick. Good luck for both of.us!

    I am being induced at 12am May 16. Have to be at hospital at 11:45pm that Sunday night. I doubt i'll sleep too much that day or night before.

    @MommyOfTwoPrincesses thank you! I'm all hooked up, with a few minor contractions, baby dont like them much lol, keeps trying to kick the monitors off

    @crazyhmom: lol my daughter did that too. She hated the monitors. I am so ready to meet my little boy.

    Lol I know! Im having another girl and she always tries to run from the heart doppler too so im really going to have fun! The nurses are going to get so angry with her im sure when im in labor this time just like they did with my first.

    @MommyOfTwoPrincesses mine did too, they just uped my dosage and im starting to feel it now, the nurse had to keep moving my moniter cause she didnt want to stay still now shes calmed down

    Lol maybe she realizes hey im getting an eviction notice! I can't believe how quickly pitocin works. I hope for a smooth induction for you! I loved mine with my first! :)

    They had me all hooked up at 8am and broke my water at 9, everything was going fast but around 3pm my labor stalled at 4cm because I wasn't relaxing due to back labor, so I got an epidural around 6pm, fell asleep at midnight I was 9cm, 1am I was fully dilated, started pushing at 1:05 and she was out at 1:42am. If my labor wouldn't have stalled it would've been sooner but I liked it.

    @MommyOfTwoPrincesses im more effaced now and a 4 and.drugged do my txtn is off. Thry gonna break my water around 12 kimda excited and nervous about that cuz then / turning back for sure
