how do i nicely tell people...

To not buy my daughter ugly clothes. I understand I should be grateful for everything everyone gives me, but you can look at me and the clothes I already picked out for her how im going to dress her. My mom and her finance are beyond excited for this baby, but not every outfit is cute or appealing just because its in baby sizes!!! [-X

    You could just ask people to please include the gift receipt for all items bought so you can maybe trade it in for a size that fits her better...that way they think its because it didnt fit and not because you dont like it. I hear ya about the ugly clothes thing. I am especially picky.

    That's a hard one because everyone has their own opinion of cute and ugly... it might be a good idea to just let people know to not buy clothes, peroid. Another option may be if there are a few people you know have bad taste just tell them u have enough clothes already. Good luck!

    Lol well what might be ugly to you might be cute to someone else. But I know where you are coming from. My mom and I like different styles and what she likes I find ugly and I cringe everytime she buys me something clothing related

    Just take the clothes exhange them if you can. If you can't donaye them. I already know my inlaws will buy the ugliest clothes.... Oh well.

    U can do what I did,,, I gave them as baby shower gifts to people I knew were expecting,,, I know it sounds bad but they may like them and it saves u money on gifts,,

    Phew im glad everyone was nice about this. I almost expected someone to call me ungrateful. :) its the older people im worried about. Specifically my moms fiancees mom!! She's very southern so the frillier and flower-ier it is the better 0_0 everyone knows im picky. Lol. Thanks ladies.

    Ya just ask for all receipts and call it a day! I am gonna do the same thing! I am having a boy..and I havent really liked to much in the way of boy clothes

    @ashley_smashley I def am going to. So far everyone who has randomly given me gifts has left the tags on and given me the receipts. They really are so limited with boys clothes!! We look for fun at them....and its such a small selection.
