36 week appt.

Had my doctor's appointment today. I am dialated to 2cm & 60% effaced. Im only 36 weeks + 2 days. Do you think my baby girl is going to hold off til DD June 5th?

    Maybe you will have a May baby! I had my 36 week appt today too and was 75% effaced but not dialating yet. Sounds like you are well on your way. Is this your first?

    Yes it is. I think thats why my doctor was kind of shocked. He checked me last week too and i was 1cm & 40%

    I bet you'll go early, but not nessecarily tomorrow. Some women can be dialated for a couple of weeks before active labor starts. My first came at 38 1/2 weeks, and was already 9 1/4lbs!!! Just make sure your bags are ready & take it easy. The good thing is that at this stage, you can be absolutely sure she'll be nice & healthy! Good luck :)

    @vette_devil lol! My son was born at 37 weeks and weighed 9 lb 3 oz, we couldn't believe it either. I wasnt even dialated before going into labor. You never know what's going to happen so be ready! :)
