Totally tmi but I don't wanna call my doc and sound stupid. I'm 30 weeks and I've been feelin a lot of pressure in my hips and well female area. I feel like he may fall out sometimes no joke! Then I started noticing some sharp pains down there. Should I be concerned?

  • Why don't you want to call ur doctor? If u dnt mind me asking ... bcuz I know I would right away Lol
  • I don't want it to be normal and them think I'm over reactting. Lol. Its lame I know. But the at call nurse is always slightly rude to me. She's even said that's why 19 year olds shouldn't have babies. But I'm engaged and I've been with him for a while so its not like I'm some random teen who got prego. :/
  • I feel pressure down there and sometimes it feels like somethings going 2 pop out. But if it doesnt go away u should talk 2 ur doctor about it.
  • I think u should give her attitude back they shouldnt be making remarks like that.
  • Idc how old u r that is bs. My cousin is 17 and has 2 kids already. There shouldnt b any judgement about age as long as the baby is taken care of.
  • I feel the same way an I'm 23 weeks... I actually went to the doctor last night for it an they monitored me for 4 hours an found Nothing... they gave me some medicine that I started today an its helped so far... the doctor said I may just be carrying a big baby..
  • Its only sometimes. They did tell me he's head down so maybe its just the new position he's in. And I pretty much did. I told her I've been takin care of myself for 3. Years and I've already got a lot if college under my belt and that financially I can take care of my child so next time she felt the need to comment on someone's age she should know just how quick they had to grow up. :).
  • @soon2bemomofdj awh maybe I should mention it at my next apt and see if they give me something. Id love that. I'm thinking mine might be I'm really small. I know he isn't big. I got my 8th ultrasound today and they estimated 3.6 pounds which is in the 45th percentile. So he's a lil small.
  • I would not put up with a Dr treating me like that you should never feel stupid for asking any questions . I know your 30weeks but its important you have a good relationship with the person delivering your baby, I would concider finding another Dr. I know how it feels I was 22 with my first but I looked about 15,people constantly gave me crap...... anyways about your question.. Im 25 weeks and I feel so much pressure on my pubic/pelvic bone too .
  • @angieface I'm military so I'm not really allowed to go anywhere but where I go. My doc is nice but its the nurse I talk to when I call. And idk why its always her.
But its nice to know this isn't abnormal. Guess its just one of those things we gotta deal with. Only 70 more days for me ladies. :)
  • @jmichelle wow! The nurse is a bitch. You should tell the doctor that that you feel the nurse doesn't take your concerns seriously and makes you feel uncomfortable about calling! Maybe other women are having this problem too. If enough people complain then maybe she will be fired. I bet the doctor would apologize for that shit the nurse said. I don't get people!!
  • sounds like you need to talk to our dr about how rude that nurse is...
  • Sounds like a good idea. Thanks y'all! :)
  • I was 15 wen i had mii first child and if i think anything is wrong i will call cause i had pain the whole nine months an i basically liced on the e r so get checked out bcause if something goes wrong those hippocrites cnt replace ur child
