Cannot get comfortable. Suggestion?

Our AC is out in my house, so I am always miserably hot. Sister-in-law lives with us and gets kinda indignant if I try wearing just sleepy shorts and a sports bra. Now on top of that, my back is making it impossible for me to stay in our room where I can wear as little as I like. What am I supposed to do? Wear clothes and sweat to death, or stay in the room sitting on the bed where my back hurts so bad I can't breath? Considering telling SIL to just move out if she doesn't like it. Pretty sure hubby would get a lil upset.

    Tell her she can go kick rocks. If she has a problem she can get her own damned place. Ugh!

    I think the Sil should be more understanding. If your bed needs to be more firm have your hubby put plywood between the mattresses. And the lil window fans at Walmart help a lot and aren't to expensive

    Haha @blueberrysmom Thanks. I needed the laugh. She seriously gets funny about "nudity". It's not like I'm running around fully in the buff. I just can't stand clothes in this heat. (It's 90ish here the last week or so)

    Haha! I'll look into the fan. Hadn't thought of that @mscheyla. I don't wanna kill her @blueberrysmom, just get her to lighten up. She's not much smaller than me. Don't know why she isn't melting.

    Honestly, she should have no say in how you stay comfortable in your home, especially since you're pregnant. Your comfort and health come before any house guest.

    I already made her cry a few days ago. I already feel like an ass for that. Especially since I never apologized. But the girl drives me crazy!

    Oooh. Idea that will not cause her "physical" harm. You should walk around naked all day so then the next time you're scantily clad to beat the heat it will be an improvement and she won't say anything. Ta daaaa. (problem solved!)

    you can make others cry when your pregnant lol...its our excuse to get whatever we want. whenever i get too hot and ac isn't available i use a small wet terrycloth. helps me keep cool. oh and a frozen bottle of water too, put it on your sensitive points like wrists and neck right by your ear.
