why do we get that dark line?

    Its just diferent skin pigments. The darker your skin tone the more likely you are to get it. It's called the linea negra...

    Hormones cause an increase in melatonin which is the cause of production of pigments in the skin.... you always had that line just never to where you could see it like now. After birth it should go away

    @Jessie23 not necessarily ... I'm very pale, always the lightest color in makeup. Any brand lol. And I have a very dark one

    That was going to be my question; When does it go away? It doesn't help that mine has also developed a trail of hair as well.

    I'm pale lol. And I don't have mine yet this pregnancy (27 wks) but with the other pregnancys I had it.....it wasn't like super dark tho.......
