Happy times

edited May 2011 in Parenting
Thought for the mommy's/daddys we might like to share a happy memory.

My little girl has made my day already. She woke and smiled at me and was throwing her arms for me. So I picked her up expecting her to be up for awhile. But she laid her head on my shoulder and wrapped her little arms around one my arms and is fast asleep again. :-) these moments just make me wish she wouldn't grow up.

  • I love it when my baby girl does that!!!
  • I feel the same way. My 3yr old wakes up when my hubby leaves for wrk an he gets in bed with me an usually kisses my cheek b4 layin his head dwn an is asleep again
  • Its so sweet and let's me know she loves and trust me.

@breewashington08 I am gonna miss my baby being a baby but I know I can't wait till she's three and sneaking into the bed because she wants her mommy or daddy.
  • @bradford2 how old is ur litl girl now? I also have a 2yr old but she likes her own bed she nevr sneaks in bed with us. I wake up to my son on the foot of our bed all the time lol
  • @breewashington08 she almost 9 months.
I think she will sneak in when she is older. Right now when she is playing she passes out on the floor with her blankets and toys so I nap on the couch and she will wake up and crawl over to the couch and pull my hair so she can get up and finish her nap.
  • @bradford2 aww I miss my babies bein that litl, my son has always been a huge mommys boy now he's so big its sad :( I've been kinda ready for my daughter to get a litl older, she was a very fussy baby with a few health scares
  • @breewashington08 he'll probably be a mommy's boy forever :-). Might not show it all the time though. And glad to hear that they were just health scares for your daughter and nothing bad.

I had my first big scare with my daughter yesterday. I was cleaning the bathroom and she was playing in the living room but got super quite so I went to check and she had some how gotten to a nutty butter snack. She had it everywhere. I was so freaked out mostly about the peanut butter. She smiled as a cleaned her up and changed her and then she just took a nap like nothing happened.
  • @bradford2 well I hope he's always a mommys boy. :) as for my daughter, she was hospitalized at 4months for meningitis then on her 1stbday begin havin seizures so she's on medicine 2times a day an frequent dr trips out of town, her medicine makes her very violent an very fussy. I love her to death, it jus can b very frustrating at times.
Lol ur daughter sounds like a sweetheart. An obviously has great tatse in snacks :)
  • @breewashington08 I hope as your daughter gets older she will grow out of her medical problems. My nephew was in a similar situation and last the doctor said he believed there was nothing to worry about anymore. :-)

My daughter is usually a sweetheart. I have seen alot if baby's and I don't say this because she is my child but she is honestly the most satisfied baby ever I think. She wont cry unless she is in pain. Its crazy. I definitely thought she was going to be the opposite. Guess my second will be the hard one. I know it can't be this easy. Or she is going to be a crazy child lol. Idk.
  • If anyone else reads this. I am not saying other babies are bad ir anything mean ir rude. I honestly wish my daughter would just throw a fit or get mad something. Make me feel more like i am being a mommy or at least give me more mommy work. I just want to let everyone know I was meaning anything bad. I see were people are quick to judge and can sometimes take things the wrong way.
  • @bradford2 I swear to u my son was like that when he was little! He was the most easy going satisfied baby I had ever seen. He ate good, he always slept good. Nevr evr had any problems outa him. Mayb its jus the 1st child thing an all 2nds r meant to b crazy lol jk I hope she does grow out of it, ecspecially her violent tantrums.. she's had me at a loss cuz smetimes I jus don't knw how to react in a way she wil understand
  • @breewashington08 who knows.guess I will see what happens when my son is born.
I really hope your daughter does for you and for her self as well.
