May I please have your opinion?
My hubby and I are ttc and waiting to see if I am actually pregnant right now. So, I brought up the subject of a midwife. I want to do it the old fashioned way. Lol... well, sort of. I want a midwife, but I want to deliver at the hospital. Make sense? My hubby's response, "We are not hippies and we are having our kids at the hospital like it was meant to be." (Am I the only one who finds his statement ironic? Lol). What does everyone think, midwife or OB? I would love to hear of experiences with midwives, too. Thanks!

perhaps you should research for an ob that specializes in traditional, no drug or inducment birth and possibly water birth at a hospital etc
@LillieBug I would definitely go to an OB if there were serious medical risks, but I really want to go the midwife route.
Have both of you had good experiences as far as bedside manner, etc. with your midwives?
@Momofsoontobe3 I appreciate your opinion. (My mother agrees with you and hubby. Lol)
My midwives deliver in the hospital, so I don't even have to worry about being sent to a different location if an emergency happens.
